2. Chocolate Factory Tour
If your Valentine is a chocolate lover, try a free tour at the new chocolate factory at Interstate 44 and Kingshighway. Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate Company recently opened the 30,000 square foot facility. 3. Kitchen Conservatory Classes
Cook up some romance with your sweetheart at a cooking class for couples at the Kitchen Conservatory in Clayton. Learn to prepare a special meal for Valentine's Day or any other day of the year. Class prices are $125 to $140 per couple.

4. Romeo and Juliet

5. Love at Laumeier Sculpture Park
Laumeier Scuplture Park is hosting a Valentine's party called LOVEmeier. The event features art displays, chocolate, drinks and more. It runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 for the general public and $25 for members. Children are also welcome and get in free with a paid adult admission.

6. Chuck Berry at Blueberry Hill
It's actually the day before Valentine's Day, but what a special treat it would be to take your love to see rock-n-roll legend Chuck Berry at Blueberry Hill. Berry still plays at the popular club once a month. Tickets are $35.

8. Untamed Hearts at the St. Louis Zoo
The St. Louis Zoo may not be the first place you think of for romance, but that could soon change. The Zoo is offering a gourmet, three-course meal at the Living World. Also new this year, a performance by stand up comedian Joe Marlotti. The cost is $125 per couple (tax and gratuity included). There are seatings at 6 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.

9. Adopt a Fennec Fox for Your Valentine
If you can't make it to dinner at the St. Louis Zoo for Valentine's Day, you have another option. Show your Valentine how much you care by adopting a fennec fox in their honor. For $40, the Zoo will send your sweetie a cuddly stuffed animal, an adoption certificate and a one year membership as a Zoo Parent.
