St. Patrick's Day Parades
St. Louis shows off its Irish pride with two St. Patrick's Day parades. The 40th annual Downtown Parade is Saturday, March 14. More than 250,000 visitors are expected to line the streets to see floats, marching bands and giant balloons. Then on March 17, the crowds will head to Dogtown. The Ancient Order of Hibernians Parade is always a big draw in St. Louis' famous Irish neighborhood.Downtown Parade

During the fourth weekend in March, sausage is king in the small German town of Hermann, Missouri.
