The Avett Brothers are coming to the Peabody Opera House this month. They'll perform three shows in St. Louis. Tickets are $35 to $50.

Every year hundreds of bald eagles return to the St. Louis area to their winter nests along the Mississippi River. Eagle watching is a popular winter activity in Alton and Grafton. On President's Day weekend, you'll see eagles and much more at the National Great Rivers Museum. The World Bird Sanctuary will have eagles, falcons, owls and other birds of prey on display. The cost for the tour is $5 a person.

The Working Women's Survival Show has everything a busy woman needs or wants all in once place. There are cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, fitness experts, makeovers, workshops, free massages and more. Tickets are $9.50 for adults, $7.50 for seniors and children. Kids six and younger are free. Discount two-day passes are also available for $13.

Wine and chocolate? Sounds like a good way to spend the day. Visitors can sample wine and chocolate pairings at seven wineries along the Missouri Wine Trail near Hermann. Tickets are $30 a person and include a souvenir wine glass.

Get away from the winter chill at the St. Louis Boat & Sportshow. Nearly a thousand boats will be on display, along with fishing and hunting gear. Tickets are $10, but children 15 and younger get in free. You can also get a discounted two-day pass for $14.
