St. Louis has something for everyone this April. The city's most popular attractions are adding new exhibits and events for you to enjoy as the spring weather finally takes hold. Here's the list of best bets for April events and activities in St. Louis.

Six Flags Opens

If you've been waiting all winter to ride The Boss or the Screamin' Eagle, your wait is over. Six Flags St. Louis opens for the season on April 5. The theme park will be open on weekends throughout the month of April. Later this summer, you can check out the park's newest roller coaster, Evel Knievel. General admission tickets are $44.99 or you can get a season pass for $69.99.

Children's Garden at the Missouri Botanical Garden

Your children can learn to appreciate the environment in a fun way at the Children's Garden at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Join in the celebration April 5 for the grand reopening of the Children's Garden. Kids can blaze a trail like Daniel Boone, eat pioneer treats or visit the General Store.

Alton Hauntings Tours

Take an evening stroll in one of the most haunted small towns in America. Staff from Alton Hauntings lead you on a ghost hunting tour through downtown Alton. You'll learn about the town's rich history of frightening and macabre happenings. Tours begin April 12.

For anyone who's putting off those home improvement projects, get inspired at the St. Charles Home and Garden Show. Browse through more than 300 booths of the latest ideas for decorating and landscaping.

Dinosaurs at the Zoo

You can see all kinds of animals at the St. Louis Zoo and now there are dinosaurs too. Okay, not real dinosaurs, but 16 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs. You can get an up close look at a tyrannosaurus rex, triceratops, stegosaurus and others. Tickets are $1.50 for zoo members and $3 for non-members.

Jersey Boys at the Fox

Jersey Boys takes the stage at the Fox Theatre beginning on April 23. This Tony Award winning show is one of the hottest tickets in town. The musical tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and their incredible rise to fame. Be ready to sing along as the show's stars sing hit songs like Sherry and Big Girls Don't Cry.

Barry Manilow In Concert

Are you a Fanilow? Barry Manilow returns to St. Louis for the first time in six years to perform the inaugural concert at the new Chaifetz Arena at St. Louis University. This will be a great show for Manilow fans who love hearing all of his top hits. Tickets for the concert are available through MetroTix.

Back to the '80's Trivia Night

What was Madonna's first number one song? Who won the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament in 1987? If you have this kind of knowledge floating around in your head, then the Back to the '80's Trivia Night is for you. The event benefits Discovering Options, a local program to keep kids away from drugs. Tickets are $25 per person or $200 for a table of eight.

Martin Sexton at the Pageant

The Pageant has a full schedule of great music this month including a performance by soulful rocker Martin Sexton on April 26. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20. This is an all ages show, but minors are restricted to the non-alcohol section.

Twilight Tuesdays

Twilight Tuesdays return to the Missouri History Museum at the end of April. These free outdoor concerts are a big draw in Forest Park all summer long. This year's shows begin on April 29 at 6:30 p.m. with the jazz sounds of local favorites the Bosman Twins.
