There is so much to do in St. Louis in the summer and much of it is free. You can catch a movie or check out some great live theater without spending any money. See a free performance of Twelfth Night outdoors in Forest Park. No tickets are required, just show up with your blanket or lawn chair. The performances are every night at 8 p.m., except Tuesdays.
May 24 - June 16
Kid friendly movies are shown on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m., at nine local Weherenberg Theatres.
June 5 - August 15
Free movies are shown one night a month at City Centre Park in St. Peters. Movies this year are: Wreck-It Ralph and The Adventures of Tin Tin.
May 31 & June 28
The Riverside Theatre Company performs Romeo and Juliet free at Frontier Park in St. Charles. The play starts at 8 p.m on Fridays and Saturdays, and at 5 p.m. on Sundays.
June 21 - 30
Nearly 1500 free seats are available for every Muny performance in Forest Park. They are available on a first come, first served basis. The free seat gates open at 7 p.m. Shows start at 8:15 p.m.
