Bring lawn chairs and blankets to Boulevard Park in Lake St. Louis for a free movie night one Friday a month all summer long. Family-friendly options include Monsters University and Despicable Me 2. Movies begin at dusk.
May 16, June 13, July 18 & August 8
See a free performance of Henry IV Parts 1 & 2 and Henry V outdoors in Forest Park. No tickets are required, just show up with your blanket or lawn chair. The performances are every night at 8 p.m., except Tuesdays.
May 17 - June 15
Free outdoor movies and St. Louis' most popular food trucks at the Gateway Arch. The event begins at 7 p.m., with the movies starting at dusk. Films this year are: Outlaw Josie Wales and Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid.
May 24, June 21
Free movies are shown along the Grafton Riverfront near Piasa Winery on Wednesday nights all summer long. This year's featured films include Austin Powers, Sixteen Candles and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The movies begin at dusk.
May 28 - September 3
Movies under the stars at the Chesterfield Amphitheater. Movies this year include popular family-friendly features like Frozen, Planes and The Lorax. Movies begin at dusk.
May 30 - August 16
6. The Muny
Nearly 1,500 free seats are available for every Muny performance in Forest Park. They are available on a first come, first served basis. The free seat gates open at 7 p.m. Shows start at 8:15 p.m.
June 16-August 17
July 11, 18, 25 & August 1
See a free movie at City Centre Park in St. Peters. The family-friendly film this year is The Lego Movie. It begins at 7:30 p.m.
9. $1 Movie Options
