Twilight Tuesday Concerts

The Missouri History Museum hosts free fall concerts on the museum's north lawn on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. Local musicians perform all kinds of music from jazz to blues to rock-n-roll. Featured performers this year include The Smash Band, Kim Massie and The Fabulous Motown Revue.

Arch Tunes

The National Park Service is hosting free concerts under the Gateway Arch each Sunday afternoon in September. Visitors can enjoy music from the Deutschmeister Brass Band, USAF Band Jazz Ensemble, River City Ramblers and the Farnum Family. The concerts begin at 3 p.m.

Parties on the Plaza

Parties on the Plaza wrap up on the second Thursday in September with a performance by the Well Hungarians. The concert is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Old Post Office Plaza at 8th and Locust Streets in Downtown St. Louis.

Gateway to the Stars

Amateur astronomers can see the stars from the grounds of the Gateway Arch. Members of the St. Louis Astronomical Society will offer free telescope viewing at 7:30 p.m. The evening begins at 7 p.m., with a ranger led twilight walk around the Archgrounds.

Sounds at the Station

Spend a fall evening listening to free live music at St. Louis Union Station. The final concert of the Sounds of the Station series features music from Griffin & the Gargoyles. The concert is held outside at the Lake Stage from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
