St. Louis Area Comedy Clubs

If you’re looking for laughs or even just something different to do on an evening out, check out one of St. Louis’ great comedy clubs. Local clubs offer everything from touring national comedians, to locals trying out their material at open mic nights. Here is the information you need to pick the right club for your evening out.

Encore Improv Comedy Club
The Encore is located inside historic Union Station, so a trip there offers a unique alternative to one of the city’s national comedy chains. Shows are also unique. In addition to regular stand up comedy, Encore also thinks of itself as the second home to Chicago’s The Second City, famous for its alumni of Bill Murray, Mike Myers and more.

Laughs on the Landing
A relatively new comedy club in St. Louis, Laughs on the Landing is a great venue. Brick archways, exposed ductwork and other elements maximize the historic building’s natural good looks. At the same time, hip furniture and décor give the place a trendy atmosphere that should help it attract more than just comedy fans.

The Comedy Forum
Located in St. Peters, The Comedy Forum offers local sketch comedy, touring comedians and live music performed by local bands.

The Funny Bone
If you’re looking for big name headliners, they’re usually at The Funny Bone in Westport Plaza.
