Election Day in St. Louis County

Today is Election Day in St. Louis County. Residents are voting on several issues including a smoking ban that would prohibit smoking in most indoor public places. Voters are also deciding whether to approve a tax increase to pay for emergency communications equipment for police and firefighters. The polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. For more information, check out the St. Louis County Board of Elections website.

If you live in the St Louis area there is a one-day FF tournament at the Fox and Hound in Chesterfield Nov. 8, 2009 (that?s a Sunday). It?s a sponsored event so Charter Communications will donate $1,000.00 in honor of the winner to a local charity.
