Where to Watch the All-Star Game in St. Louis

Friday July 10, 2009

The best place to watch the 2009 MLB All-Star Game is inside Busch Stadium. But those of us who don't have tickets will have to settle for watching on television. Here are some of the most popular sports bars around the St. Louis area where you can hang out with other baseball fans and watch the game.

SportsZone Bar & Grill - You won't miss any of the action at SportsZone. This sports bar has more than 60 t.v.'s including five 105" HDTV projector televisions. There's also a full restaurant menu and an outdoor patio.

Ozzie's Restaurant & Sports Bar - You'd expect a sports bar owned by Cardinals Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith to go all out for the All-Star Game and that's just what they're doing at Ozzie's. On July 9, 10 and 11, baseball fans can enjoy live music and drawings for Cardinals tickets, gift certificates, autographs and more. Then on July 13, Ozzie will be at the restaurant celebrating with fans. His son, and former American Idol contestant, Nikko Smith will perform from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Ozzie's will also be giving away two tickets to the All-Star Game.

Upper Deck Sports Bar - Upper Deck in south St. Louis County has plenty of room for you and your friends to watch the game, play a round of pool or just sit and enjoy the nightly drink specials. There's also a full menu featuring traditional bar food like chicken wings, burgers and pizza.

Hot Shots Sports Bar & Grill - Hot Shots has nine locations throughout the St. Louis area. Each location has HD plasma and big screen t.v.'s for watching the game. There are also pool tables, dart boards, interactive games, drink specials and a full bar menu.

Sky Box Sports Bar & Grill - St. Louis celebrities Nelly, Marshall Faulk, Larry Hughes and Darius Miles teamed up to open the Sky Box Sports Bar on Laclede's Landing. This is the place to go if you want a more upscale meal while you watch the game. The menu features entrees like pasta primavera, ribs and a 22 ounce porterhouse. There are also more than 80 HD televisions to catch every play.

Thanks for the list of sports bars. Should be a good all-star game, although if Pujols has a good home run derby, he may steal the show.
