Free MLB All-Star Charity Concert Featuring Sheryl Crow

Monday June 22, 2009

Here's another way for you to enjoy the fun and excitement of the 2009 MLB All-Star Game in St. Louis. Missouri native and Grammy winner Sheryl Crow will perform a free concert as part of the All-Star Game festivities. The concert is Saturday, July 11, at 8 p.m., under the Gateway Arch. The concert is free for visitors, but everyone is encouraged to bring a donation for the cancer charity, Stand Up To Cancer.

The Fair Saint Louis Foundation is looking for about 200 volunteers to work at beverage booths during the concert. Volunteers must be 18 or older and will receive a t-shirt, meal and parking voucher. If you'd like to volunteer but can't make it for the MLB All-Star Concert, there are still volunteer opportunities available for Fair St. Louis and Live on the Levee. Volunteer applications for all three events are available online at the Celebrate St. Louis website.
