Neighborhood Turns Out for Macklind Days Festival

I'd like to congratulate the members of the Macklind Business District on the success of the Macklind Days Festival on Saturday. This was the first year for the event in my south St. Louis neighborhood and I was impressed by how smoothly everything went and by the number of people who showed up. My family made two trips to the festival. We were there during lunch, then back again for dinner and I must say the food was great. We had salsiccia from Manzo's for lunch and pizza from Onesto for dinner. We also enjoyed the music, games and just seeing many of our neighbors.
