New George Clooney Movie Begins Filming in St. Louis

Monday March 2, 2009

The crews have arrived in St. Louis for the new George Clooney flick "Up in the Air." The movie begins filming today and is scheduled to wrap up on April 21. Clooney and the crew will be filming at Lambert Airport and dozens of locations in the St. Louis area so you just may see him around town!

Some 2,000 local residents chosen as extras will get an up close look at the making of a Hollywood movie. Casting directors say they are not taking any more applications for extras right now, but they may in the future. Check the Missouri Film Commission website for updates.
