St. Louis Attractions Return to Fall Hours
Here's another sign that summer is all but over. Major attractions in the St. Louis area are returning to their fall hours. You may have less time to see the Gateway Arch or visit the Zoo, but September is often the best time to go because of the smaller crowds and cooler weather.
As of this Labor Day, the Gateway Arch and Museum of Westward Expansion are open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fall and winter hours for the St. Louis Zoo are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Zoo will have extended hours again in October for "Boo at the Zoo" and during the Christmas season for "Wild Lights."
The Magic House is now closed on Mondays (as of yesterday). It's open until 5:30 p.m. all other days of the week, except Friday when it stays open until 9 p.m.
