Find Jobs in Higher Ed, Research and Healthcare on STLR HERC Website

Wednesday July 16, 2008

If you work in higher ed or at a related research or medical facility, you'll want to check out the St. Louis Regional HERC website. Visitors can search hundreds of faculty and staff jobs open at area's colleges and univerisities (plus all their related medical centers, research institutions, etc.).

One of the site's most unique features is its focus on dual career searches (for individuals relocating because their spouse or partner is taking a position at a college or related institution). The STLR HERC site lets spouses register for their own job alerts, and also links their search and profile to that of their spouse.

So, whether you work in higher education, healthcare or research - or are the spouse of someone who does - the STLR HERC is a great resource to begin a successful job search.

The Director of the STLR HERC, Laurel Sgan, is also available on this site's forum to answer questions and provide job search advice. To ask Laurel a question, visit the Job Help & Career Advice discussion on my forum.
