New Website Hopes to Save Anheuser-Busch from InBev Takeover

The new website, www.savebudweiser.com, is a place for St. Louisans and all who love Budweiser to make their voices heard. The website has already gathered nearly 30,000 signatures from people who oppose any foreign takeover of Anheuser-Busch. An InBev takeover could mean job cuts and the loss of a St. Louis icon. Unfortunately, business is not a democracy and "we the people" don't have vote when it comes to corporate mergers. But it's still nice to see such wide support for keeping Anheuser-Busch a St. Louis company.
