Shakespeare is coming alive in Forest Park. The Shakespeare Festival's performances of Richard III began last week and run until June 15. I've been to the festival several times in the last few years and it's always a great time. I suggest taking a picnic dinner and a good bottle of wine. The play begins at 8 p.m. nightly (except Tuesdays) so you have plenty of time to get to the park, pick out your spot and enjoy a nice meal. You can also buy food once you get there. Admission is free, but donations are accepted.
