Local Author Shares Her Love of Italian Culture

Thursday November 22, 2007

When you think of Italian in St. Louis, The Hill is likely the first place that comes to mind. Author Elenaore Berra Marfisi already wrote a best selling book about The Hill, now she is back with a new book on Italian culture. She’ll be signing copies of Italian Roots, American Flowers this weekend at a special reception at Girasole Gifts. The new book features much of Marfisi’s poetry, but also nearly 150 recipes, including dishes made specifically for Italian holidays and feast days. The book signing reception is Saturday, November 24, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Girasole Gifts at 2103 Marconi Avenue.
