New Community Center Opening This Weekend

St. Louisans have a new place to play basketball, lift weights or just spend a little free time socializing. Saturday is the grand opening for the new Bishop L.M. Wooten Family Life Center. The new center features a full size gymnasium and fitness center. There are also recreation rooms with computers and games, and a variety shop that sells books, jewelry and arts and crafts. The grand opening celebration for the new community center is Saturday, October 27th, from noon until 5 p.m. There will be free food, prizes and health screenings. The Bishop Wooten Family Life Center is located at 5170 Dr. Martin Luther King Drive in St. Louis. It will be open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
